August Papadopoulos acts as the Director of Impact and Engagement at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Recognizing the crucial role of academia in addressing societal challenges, he actively leads initiatives that promote the application of research findings and knowledge to real-world problems.
August is committed to fostering relationships between the academic community and various stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers, and non-profit organizations, to achieve impact. He sees LDE and RSM centres as the perfect vehicles to realise this.
He has a special affinity for maritime cultural heritage. August supports LDE PCF by complementing with interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial insights to the centre’s focus. August gained his master’s from the University of Warwick Business School (UK) and has also gained degrees from the University of Liverpool, the University of Sunderland and the Chartered Management Institute. All in the fields of Business and Management.
