Annabelle Duval is the Professional Workshop Coordinator at Port City Futures. She has a background in Political Sciences, Urban Studies, and holds a PhD in Geography. Her work is grounded in political ecology, focusing on the governance of socio-ecological transitions, the conditions under which ecological imaginaries emerge, and the envisioned futures of large technical infrastructure systems. Her doctoral research examined the port regions of Los Angeles and the Loire estuary, exploring how environmental concerns and infrastructural dynamics shape territorial governance.
