Internship Call - Join the World Heritage Cities Programme!
The World Heritage Cities programme is one of six thematic programmes approved and monitored by the World Heritage Committee. The programme assists States Parties in the challenges of protecting and managing their urban heritage and integrating with sustainable urban development. The programme includes communication and exchange across more than 300 World Heritage cities, the development of guidance and good practices around urban heritage conservation. Using the 2011 UNESCO Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) as a tool that presents an innovative integrated approach to urban conservation. The programme focuses on innovative solutions and strategies and building capacities through collaboration and co-learning.
